Της Αγάπης το Βαλς  

Η ψυχή μου σαν άνεμος τρέχει κοντά σου

και σαν οπτασία σε φέρνει μπροστά μου

Αγκαλιαζόμαστε, βαθιά στα μάτια κοιταζόμαστε

φιλιόμαστε, στης αγάπης τη ζάλη χανόμαστε.

 

Καλοκαιριού ανέμων στροβίλι γινόμαστε

για το βαλς της αγάπης σφικτά αγκαλιαζόμαστε

Τον πιο όμορφο χορό που όλοι ονειρεύονται

και η χαρά με τον έρωτα μαζί μας πορεύονται.  

 

Στην αγκαλιά μου σε νοιώθω σφικτά να κρατιέσαι

και την καρδιά σου ακούω απαλά σαν κουνιέσαι

Της Αφροδίτης ιέρειες τον έρωτα δοξάζουν

και την αγάπη υμνούν καθώς πλησιάζουν.

 

Κόκκινα ρόδα στο δρόμο μας απλώνουν

και γιασεμιού μυρωδιές την πλάση ευωδούν

Στης Θεάς τον βωμό τα κορμιά μας ξαπλώνουν

και οι φωνές μας τον έρωτα με πάθος υμνούν.

The Waltz of Love

My soul like a wind races close to your side,

and you as a breeze welcome arms open wide.

We embrace one another, gaze deep in each eye,

and kissing, in love's dizzy daze we drift high.

 

Of midsummer winds a wild vortex we grow,

we spin round and round, in love's waltz we flow.

The most gorgeous dance that all dream to pursue,

where joy and sweet passion play just for us two.

 

Within my embrace, we are tightly entwined,

and your loud-beating heart with my own is aligned.

Aphrodite's fair priestesses draw close to share,

and offer love's nectar for you to drink there.

 

Red roses are spread down the pathway along,

and jasmine scents fragrance the earth with its song.

On the altar of Goddess our bodies now lay,

while our voices praise passion and love all the way.

Christmas Eve Night! A heavy Christmas Eve hung over the world. Outside, the cold cut like a knife through an eerie frost. Inside, the house was equally glacial—a silent freeze that seemed to have sucked all the warmth out of the hearth. An old woman sat alone in her carved wooden rocking chair by the window of the frost-rimed room. She held a family photograph, yellowed by time, clutched in her hands with a sacred intensity. A threadbare, tattered blanket struggled to keep even a flickering warmth within her frail, withered body. Beside her, a lamp blackened by soot and low on oil cast only a faint, yellowish whisper of light into the dense shadows. The old woman gazed with a vacant, unfocused look out the window, her head nodding rhythmically to the motion of the chair. English Version Below ↆↆ Αφήστε το εγώ γιατί δεν είμαστε μόνοι! (Μεταμεσονύκτιες σκέψεις) Γεννιόμαστε φέροντας το «εγώ» ως σιωπηλό, αχώριστο προικιό στο διάβα της ύπαρξής μας. Βρισκόμαστε περιπλανώμενοι σε απέραντα ανθρώπ ι να πλήθη, κι όμως πορευόμαστε με τα μάτια της ψυχής ερμητικά κλειστά, ανήμποροι να αντικρίσουμε, να αφουγκραστούμε, να γευτούμε την ουσία του άλλου. Ζούμε με την πλάνη της απόλυτης μοναδικότητας, για να γευτούμε στο λυκόφως της ζωής την πιο παγωμένη, αληθινή μοναξιά. Μεγαλώνουμε διεκδικώντας την καταξίωση πάνω σε ξένα δεκανίκια, για να αναφωνήσουμε με αλαζονεία πως τα καταφέραμε όλα μόνοι.
