Θυμήσου - Remember
My Greek poems! English version below. ↓↓

Remember
The scars upon your weary skin
are deeply etched, not merely drawn.
The sharp-edged memories have
dimmed,
aaded now, along with pain's own
dawn.
Yet you still walk that taut, thin
line,
as if your spirit craves the fall.
Hold fast, and let your mind recall
the grief, the shadow you resigned
The agony you cannot bear,
the deep, consuming, endless sorrow.
Step off the rope, breathe solid
air.
Remember this: if you should fall
it will be long and hard to stand at
all.

I really love this poem " Remember". The past is past - its a reminder to look forward rather than constantly looking back, and to use past experiences as lessons for future growth.
ReplyDeleteYes, after the falls there is a way out, the path of life must be followed, leaving sadness behind and living with the joy that life gives us day by day. 🙌
ReplyDeleteYes, after the falls, there's always a new dawn. Better yet, the path of life must be lived. With joy and leaving sadness behind, feeling august every day that life gives us.
