Γεννημένος Ήρωας

Έφευγες με την έγνοια στη μάνα σου.

Πολεμούσες με την σκέψη στους φίλους σου.

Έκρυψες το χαμόγελο στις σκέψεις σου.

Αντιστάθηκες στις ευκαιρίες και στις προκλήσεις

Έμεινες ακλόνητος στη συνείδηση σου.

Νίκησες τον φόβο σου, νίκησες  το εγώ σου.

Ήσουνα  έτοιμος, σαν να γεννήθηκες  γι’ αυτό.

Η αγάπη στην μάνα σου,  ο σεβασμός στους φίλους σου,

Η πίστη στο χώμα που σε γέννησε, σε έκαναν ήρωα.

A Hero's Inevitable Birth

As you departed, your mother's concern was a quiet burden.

In the clash of the fight, your friends were the strength in your thoughts.

Your true smile, a hidden thing, was held secret in your soul.

You faced down both tempting opportunities and terrifying challenges.

Your spirit remained an unyielding fortress.

You challenged your fear, and your ego was defeated.

You stood ready, as if you had been born only for this.

The love for your mother,

The profound respect for your comrades,

The fierce belief in the land you rose from

This is what made you the hero.

Christmas Story!

Christmas Eve Night! A heavy Christmas Eve hung over the world. Outside, the cold cut like a knife through an eerie frost. Inside, the house was equally glacial—a silent freeze that seemed to have sucked all the warmth out of the hearth. An old woman sat alone in her carved wooden rocking chair by the window of the frost-rimed room. She held a family photograph, yellowed by time, clutched in her hands with a sacred intensity. A threadbare, tattered blanket struggled to keep even a flickering warmth within her frail, withered body. Beside her, a lamp blackened by soot and low on oil cast only a faint, yellowish whisper of light into the dense shadows. The old woman gazed with a vacant, unfocused look out the window, her head nodding rhythmically to the motion of the chair. It moved like a steady pendulum, carrying her thoughts far away, beyond the seas and the mountains. Αφήστε το εγώ γιατί δεν είμαστε μόνοι - Leave the ego behind, for we are not alone

English Version Below ↆↆ Αφήστε το εγώ γιατί δεν είμαστε μόνοι! (Μεταμεσονύκτιες σκέψεις) Γεννιόμαστε φέροντας το «εγώ» ως σιωπηλό, αχώριστο προικιό στο διάβα της ύπαρξής μας. Βρισκόμαστε περιπλανώμενοι σε απέραντα ανθρώπ ι να πλήθη, κι όμως πορευόμαστε με τα μάτια της ψυχής ερμητικά κλειστά, ανήμποροι να αντικρίσουμε, να αφουγκραστούμε, να γευτούμε την ουσία του άλλου. Ζούμε με την πλάνη της απόλυτης μοναδικότητας, για να γευτούμε στο λυκόφως της ζωής την πιο παγωμένη, αληθινή μοναξιά. Μεγαλώνουμε διεκδικώντας την καταξίωση πάνω σε ξένα δεκανίκια, για να αναφωνήσουμε με αλαζονεία πως τα καταφέραμε όλα μόνοι. Και έπειτα, ψελλίζουμε παράπονα πως η μοίρα στάθηκε σκληρή, πως ποτέ κανείς δεν άπλωσε χέρι βοηθείας. Ανηφορίσαμε τα μονοπάτια της ζωής γκρεμίζοντας τους άλλους, μειώνοντας τις δικές τους αξίες για να υψώσουμε το δικό μας ανάστημα – αποδεικνύοντας το τίποτα στο ίδιο μας το είδωλο.
